Since the age of three I have been reading or listening to all kinds of stories, and continued reading and telling stories to my four children (now adults). I keep the tradition going with my grandchildren, who are also avid readers. My favorite stories are folk tales from different countries.

I have always liked music and drama, and one day at the Claremont Folk Festival I wandered into a story swap given by Leslie Perry. I wound up doing a story with him; he told in English and I translated in Spanish. I was hooked. Arvee Robinson started the Inland Valley Story Tellers and I joined up and plan to keep telling stories as often as I can. My "day job" is teaching English as a second language to Hispanic students.
