Patricia Snow was a talented storyteller who died in 2017. She produced the 2004 spring concert. She served as the leader of the Inland Valley Storytellers for 3 years and guided the group through a difficult transition period of the early years of the group.

  • John St. Clair is a retired teacher, having taught 35 years in the Ontario-Montclair School District. John spent his last 18 years teaching at Vina Danks Middle School in Ontario. As a storyteller, he is particularly interested in folk tales and children's literature. John made his debut as a public storyteller at the Tellabration! 2003 concert and has been enjoying performing at various venues ever since. He also produced the spring 2006 concert, and many concerts for Inland Valley Storytellers since then. Currently he is the leader, treasurer, and webmaster for Inland Valley Storytellers.

  • Chris St. Clair is an accupressurist, marriage and family therapist, and avid storyteller. Chris helps her clients find meaning in the telling of their own stories. She produced "The Tellers of Tales," a spring concert for Inland Valley Storytellers, in 2005.

  • Nick Smith has been a storyteller for a many of years, performing at festivals for both children and adults. He has organized many storytelling events and produced our Tellabration! 2004 event. He is the leader of the San Gabriel Valley Storytellers. He works with children and teens at the Pasadena Public Library.

  • Ron Chick is a retired teacher who actively participates in many storytelling groups throughout Southern California. He is the leader of the Riverside storytelling group called Tales Down by the Riverside. Ron joined the Inland Valley Storytellers in 2010 and has performed in every IVS concert since the spring of 2010.

  • Karen Rae Kraut has been telling stories since 1990. She has toured for the Smithsonian Institution and earned a M.A. in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University. Her CD of stories, songs and poems received a National Parenting Publications Honors Award and an iParenting Media Award.

  • One of the unique performers on the national storytelling circuit today, Angela Lloyd was featured at the 25th (1997) and 31st (2003) National Storytelling Festivals, in Jonesborough, Tennessee and regularly appears at regional festivals and theatres around the country. A virtuosa on washboard, Angela's performances are a whimsical braid of poetry, story and song played on autoharp, tenor guitar, spoon and bell.

  • Ron Evans, a native New Englander, who with his wife Janet, retired to Pilgrim Place in Claremont in 2007. He has been a community development worker with the International Y.M.C.A., an academic, clergyman, sports official, volunteer fire fighter, fire department chaplain, steeplejack, perpetual fun and fund raiser. He and Janet were present for the very first Tellabration which was founded in Connecticut in 1988. Ron joined Inland Valley Storytellers in 2009 and has performed in most IVS concerts since the spring concert of 2009.

  • Penelope Mann is a retired minister living at Pilgrim Place. She uses storytelling with adults and her four grandchildren. Like many of us, she laments the abuse of our planet and values stories which help connect body, mind and heart with our Mother Earth. Penelope joined the Inland Valley Storytellers in 2010 and has performed in most IVS concerts since the spring concert of 2010.

  • Adrien Lowery has been a storyteller since the first day they let her stand in front of a captive audience of Freshman Writing students while working on her PhD at USC, but a more formal storyteller with more willing audiences over the last 20 years. She has sung and acted on SoCal stages, including the Renaissance Faire, and loves to learn the stories of peace, justice, and smart women. Adrien joined the Inland Valley Storytellers in 2011 and has performed in every IVS concert since the spring concert of 2012.

  • Sara Truitt is a psychotherapist, writer, and storyteller. As a psychotherapist, Sara helps her clients find meaning in the telling and re-telling of their own stories. As a writer, Sara delves deeply into her own personal and cultural history, and as a storyteller she chooses to tell stories that provide connection and give honor to her own feminine Jewish ancestry. She was the producer of Tellabration! 2005.
